I have updated my Value Page but its not updating my Company Goals

1 min read

Why Value Page Changes Don’t Show Automatically #

When you update your Value Page—such as adjusting your desired enterprise value, revenue, or profit—those changes do not automatically flow into your Company Goals Dashboard.

This is because:

  • During onboarding, your original plan was trended forward from your initial Health and Value inputs.
  • After that, updates must be made manually to ensure the dashboards reflect your adjustments.

How to Sync Your Changes #

  1. Manually Update in Company Goals
    • If you change a revenue or profit target on your Value Page, you’ll also need to update those figures on the Company Goals Dashboard.
    • Adjust both the current year and future years as necessary.
  2. Use Export/Import for Faster Updates
    • Click the three dots on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
    • Choose Copy to Clipboard or Export to Excel/Google Sheets.
    • Make your changes there, then re-upload the full dashboard.
    • This avoids editing cell by cell.

Pro Tip for Advisors #

  • Focus most on ensuring the current year’s Company Goals Dashboard is aligned with your updated Value Page.
  • Future years can be adjusted at a higher level, since specificity decreases the further out you go.
  • Always confirm that the current year’s enterprise value target matches between your Value Page and Company Goals.
