Updating Company Goals and Macro Plans #
Both Company Goals and the Macro Plan dashboards operate the same way.
They are month-over-month plans used to track performance.
Updating Plan or Actuals #
There are two ways to make updates:
- Update cell by cell
- Click directly into each month’s cell to update plan or actual numbers.
- The year-to-date totals will automatically recalculate from these updates.
- Note: You cannot directly edit the total — it’s always calculated from monthly entries.
- Update via Export/Import
- Use the three dots on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
- Export the dashboard to Excel or Google Sheets.
- Make your changes in bulk.
- Re-import the file back into Propel.
Important Notes on Importing #
- When you export, the entire dashboard exports.
- When you import, you must import the full dashboard back in, even if you only changed a few numbers.
- This applies whether you export/import via Excel file or use Copy to Clipboard → Paste Data from Sheets/Excel.
- Ensure there are no symbols, commas, or formatting errors in your data before importing — this could block the upload.
- All numbers will overwrite when re-imported, so double-check accuracy.
