Firm Admins have permission to create new company instances in Propel Your Business.
If you believe you should have this ability, contact your Firm Administrator. If you are the Firm Administrator, contact the person who introduced you to Propel Your Business.
As the Firm Administrator, you’ll land on your Portfolio page. From there:
- Go to Settings in the lower left-hand corner.
- Select Companies.
- In the top right-hand corner, click Add Company.
From here, you can:
- Enter the Company Name.
- Select the Status:
- Active – Clients actively paying for a service. Counts toward the total number of company instances in your firm.
- Pending – Companies in the sales process or prospects. You cannot invite company owners or users to Propel Your Business while the company is pending.
- Inactive – Clients who have discontinued services.
- Set the Time Zone for the company (can be updated later).
- Add a Folder for any shared documents with this client (can be added later).
- If you operate on a monthly recurring revenue model, input the Recurring Revenue amount and the Hours worked for that revenue. This data will roll up into the portfolio of the entire firm or the assigned service provider/advisor/consultant.
- Enter the Engagement Start Date (can be changed later).
When finished, click Add Company and it will appear in your list of companies.
