Blind Copying a Health and Value Assessment Report #
Propel Your Business allows you to blind copy (BCC) a Health and Value Assessment (HVA) report to a referral partner or another interested individual. This feature is commonly used when working with strategic partners, referral sources, or internal collaborators who may want visibility into assessment results.
The prospect always maintains control over whether the report is shared.
What a Blind Copy Does #
When a blind copy is added:
- The partner or individual does not receive the assessment automatically
- The prospect is asked for permission to share their completed report
- The report is only sent if the prospect explicitly approves it
This ensures transparency and privacy compliance.
Adding a Blind Copy When Creating an Assessment Link #
- Navigate to Create Health and Value Assessment Link
- Create a new campaign (recommended for tracking)
- During campaign setup, locate the option:
- “Would you like to blind copy someone?”
- Enter:
- The individual’s email address
- Their full name
- Click Create Link
This link can now be shared with prospects.
Adding a Blind Copy When Sending an Assessment Directly #
You can also add a blind copy when sending the assessment directly to a prospect:
- Select Send Health and Value Assessment
- Choose to track the campaign
- Create or select the campaign
- Enter the blind copy recipient’s:
- Name
- Email address
- Send the assessment
The blind copy behavior works the same whether the link is shared or sent directly.
What the Prospect Sees After Completing the Assessment #
When the prospect finishes the Health and Value Assessment, they will see a confirmation screen that:
- Requests their name and email address to receive their results
- Requires acceptance of the privacy policy
- Displays:
- Who referred them
- A checkbox asking whether they want to share the results with that individual
Important notes:
- The checkbox is optional
- The prospect can uncheck the box
- If unchecked, the report is not sent
- If checked, the report is sent to the blind copied individual
Editing the Blind Copy on an Existing Campaign #
If you need to change the blind copy recipient after a campaign has already been created:
- Go to the Health and Value Assessment Dashboard
- Click View Report (Campaign Reporting)
- Locate the campaign you want to update
- Click Edit
- Update the blind copy recipient information
- Save the changes
Any future use of that campaign link will now prompt the prospect to share results with the updated individual.
Key Considerations #
- Blind copied recipients only receive reports with prospect consent
- The feature supports ethical referrals and partner collaboration
- Works for both campaign links and direct sends
- Blind copy recipients must rely on prospect approval, not automatic delivery
