Inputting Company KPI’s

2 min read

We’ve come to the point in the annual planning process where it’s time to enter our additional KPIs into our Company Goals dashboard.

First, when we log in to Propel Your Business and land on our Company Goals page, we’ll see the dashboard.

If you don’t see the Company Goals dashboard and believe you should have access, contact your company administrator. If you are the company administrator and don’t see it, contact the person who introduced you to Propel Your Business.

If you don’t have access to Company Goals, you will see Performance Goals instead, which is also a place where you can add KPIs. We’ll cover that in another video, though the process is the same.

First, I’m going to change the year to the one I’m planning for—here, 2026. I’ve already entered my planned revenue and profit for the year in a separate video.

Now I’m going to add my additional KPIs—key performance indicators—that I worked through in my handbook. I’ll enter the goal name, the year (2026), whether it’s a sum or average, the metric, and then hit Submit.

At this point, I have two options:

  • I can add the plan for this goal individually, cell by cell, or
  • I can continue adding other KPIs that I want to measure month over month in this dashboard.

Once I’ve added all KPIs for the year, I can go to the three dots at the top of the Company Goals dashboard and either export the dashboard to Excel or copy it to my clipboard. Then, I can open Google Sheets or Excel, paste the data, and make changes quickly across the cells.

When finished, I copy the updated data from the sheet, paste it back into the dashboard, and apply the changes.

I can repeat this process as many times as I want and update it throughout the year using the same method.
