Setting a Default Meeting Link #

Propel allows you to set a default meeting link so that new meeting series automatically use the same virtual meeting location.

This is especially useful if you use a recurring personal meeting room in platforms such as:

• Zoom
• Microsoft Teams
• Google Meet
• Webex
• Other video conferencing platforms

Using a default meeting link helps keep meetings consistent and reduces the need to manually enter links each time you create a new meeting series.

Option 1: Set Your Default Meeting Link in My Account #

To set a default meeting link from your user profile:

1. Navigate to My Account in the lower-left corner of the navigation menu.
2. Locate the Default Meeting Link field.
3. Paste your recurring meeting room URL.
4. Save your changes.

Once saved, this link will automatically populate when creating future meeting series.

Choosing the Right Meeting Link #

Most virtual meeting platforms allow you to create a permanent meeting room or personal meeting space that does not change between meetings.

Examples include:

• Zoom Personal Meeting Room
• Microsoft Teams Personal Meeting Link
• Google Meet recurring meeting links

Using a consistent meeting room helps attendees quickly access meetings and reduces confusion.

Option 2: Set a Default Link While Creating or Editing a Meeting Series #

You can also update your default meeting link while creating or editing a meeting series.

To do this:

1. Create a new meeting series or edit an existing one.
2. Enter the meeting link in the Meeting Link field.
3. Select Set as Default Meeting Link.
4. Save or update the meeting series.

When selected, the meeting link entered for that meeting series will become the default meeting link stored in your account settings.

Updating an Existing Default Meeting Link #

If your meeting platform or meeting room changes:

1. Navigate to My Account.
2. Replace the existing default meeting link.
3. Save your changes.

You can also update it through any meeting series by selecting Set as Default Meeting Link when entering a new meeting URL.
