Creating a Task in Propel Your Business #
You can create a task in two areas of the software.
1. From the Navigation Bar #
On the left-hand side, select Tasks.
Here you’ll see all of your tasks across the business—from any meeting series. You can view:
- Your tasks
- Assigned tasks
To create a new task:
- Click the green plus button on the right-hand side.
- Enter the task details.
- Choose whether to connect the task to one or more meeting series (this step is optional).
- Click Confirm.
Once saved, the task will appear in your dashboard.
2. From Within a Meeting Series #
The second way is inside a meeting series.
While in the meeting, go to Tasks and click New Task.
Follow the same steps as before.
The difference here is that you won’t be asked which meeting series to link the task to—because it is automatically tied to the meeting series you’re in.
✅ Tip: Use the dashboard when you want flexibility to assign tasks across multiple meeting series. Use the meeting view when the task is specific to that meeting.
