Why You May Not Be Able to Share or Assign in Propel Your Business #
Sometimes you may try to share an initiative or assign a roadmap item and find that the person you’re looking for doesn’t appear as an option.
Common Cause #
- This almost always means the individual is not yet active in the software.
- Two reasons this can happen:
- They have not been added as a user.
- They have not set up their account after being invited.
Example – Sharing an Initiative #
- You go to an initiative, click the three dots, and select Edit.
- Under the Shared With field, you type a name but no results appear.
- This means the person is not active in the system.
Example – Assigning a Roadmap Item #
- Inside a meeting, under the Initiatives section, you attempt to assign a roadmap item.
- If the person’s name is missing from the list, it indicates the same problem: they’re not active yet.
What to Do Next #
- Check with your Company Admin or Firm Admin to make sure the person has been invited and activated.
- If the issue continues, you can log a support ticket through the Propel Your Business support desk for additional help.
