Adding Company Instances and What Happens When You Reach Your Maximum #

Firm Admins can manage company instances within Settings > Companies. This page displays:

  • The number of active companies your firm is currently using
  • The number of remaining active company slots available in your subscription

For example, if your firm plan includes 10 active companies and you have 6 active, you will see that 4 remain.

Adding a New Company #

To add a company:

  1. Go to Settings in the navy firm navigation bar.
  2. Select Companies.
  3. Click Add Company.

If you still have active companies remaining in your allotment, you may proceed with creating the new company instance.

What Happens When You Reach Your Maximum #

If your firm has used all active company slots:

  • The system will prevent you from adding a new active company.
  • You will see a message indicating that you have reached your maximum number of active companies.
  • The number of active companies included in your subscription will be displayed for reference.

If you believe the number shown is incorrect, please log a support ticket.

Adding Companies Beyond Your Allocation #

If you choose to add more companies than what your plan allows:

  • An additional charge of $100 per company will be applied.
  • The charge will be reflected in the next month’s billing cycle.
  • Only Firm Admins can approve adding companies beyond the allocated amount.

Requests from Other Users #

If an advisor or another firm user attempts to:

  • Add a new company, or
  • Move a company from Pending to Active,

and doing so would exceed the firm’s allotted number of active companies, a request will be sent to the Firm Admin for approval.
