Assigning A Company To An Advisor

Only Firm Admins can assign a company to an advisor in Propel Your Business.

If you believe you should have this ability, contact your Firm Admin. If you are the Firm Admin, log a support ticket if needed.

The Advisor role in Propel Your Business is the individual working directly with the client. You may not call yourself an “advisor,” but if you are directly working with the client, this is how you gain access to the company.

To assign a company to an advisor as a Firm Admin:

1. Log in to Propel Your Business.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Select Companies.
4. Search for the company you want to assign.
5. Click the Three Dots and choose Manage Advisors.
6. Search for the advisor and assign them to the company.

Alternate method:

1. Log in and go to Team.
2. Find the team member you want to assign.
3. Select Assign Companies.
4. Search for the company and assign it to the advisor.

You can also revoke access from either location if needed.
