Company User Settings in Propel Your Business #
Propel Your Business provides several different user settings for Company Users.
- Company Admins automatically have full access to all areas of the software within their company instance.
- Company Users require specific permissions to be set, determining what they can see and do.
1. Locating User Settings #
- Go to Company Settings in the lower left-hand corner of the navigation bar.
- Click Users.
- You will see all team members listed along with their roles and permissions.
2. Permissions You Can Set #
There are three primary permissions that can be toggled on or off for Company Users:
A. Company Goals #
- Controls whether the user can access the Company Goals Dashboard (the default landing page for Admins).
- If blocked, the user will not see this dashboard and will instead land on their own Macro Plan.
B. Health & Value #
- Controls access to Enterprise Value and Health Score data.
- This information appears both in Company Goals and in the Goals section of meeting agendas.
- If granted, the user can see Health & Value metrics across the company.
C. Internal Meetings #
- Controls whether the user can schedule internal team meetings within the software.
- Useful for department or team leaders who need to run their own meetings without requiring access to Company Goals or Health & Value.
3. How to Edit Permissions #
- From the Users list, click the three dots on the right-hand side of a user’s row.
- Select Edit.
- Under Permissions, toggle access on or off for:
- Company Goals
- Health & Value
- Internal Meetings
4. Meeting Series Access #
In addition to user settings:
- A user automatically has access to any meeting series they are a part of.
- This includes:
- Goals or Macro Plans tied to that meeting.
- Initiatives and Roadmaps within the series.
- Any Resources pinned to the series.
So even if a user does not have global permissions for Company Goals or Health & Value, they will still see relevant items inside the meeting series they belong to.
5. Support #
If you need help with user settings or permissions, log a ticket through the Support Desk in Propel Your Business.
