Managing Vendors in the Team Module #
Inside the Team Module in Propel, organizations can manage and organize the vendors they work with on an ongoing basis.
The Vendors tab creates a centralized vendor directory, helping teams keep important vendor information organized and accessible.
Vendor Dashboard Overview #
On the Vendors dashboard, users can view:
- Vendor name
- Main vendor contact
- Internal point of contact within the organization
- Vendor start date
- Website or scheduling links
This creates visibility into:
- who the vendor is
- who manages the relationship internally
- how long the relationship has existed
- how to quickly access the vendor
Adding a Vendor #
To add a vendor:
- Navigate to the Team Module
- Click on the Vendors tab
- Select Add Vendor
- Enter the vendor information
- Save the record
Vendor details may include:
- Contact name
- Contact email
- Vendor start date
- Website links
- Scheduling links
- Additional notes or descriptions
Editing Vendors #
To edit an existing vendor:
- Locate the vendor on the dashboard
- Click the three dots on the right-hand side
- Select Edit
- Update the information
- Save changes
Import & Export Functionality #
The Vendors tab also includes upload and download functionality.
Users can:
- Export vendor lists to Excel or Google Sheets
- make bulk edits externally
- Re-upload the updated vendor information back into Propel
This is especially useful for:
updating vendor contacts in bulk
onboarding large vendor lists
maintaining procurement records
