Managing Vendors in the Team Module #

The Team module includes a dedicated area for tracking and organizing the vendors your business works with.

This feature allows you to maintain a centralized view of vendor relationships without requiring vendors to be users in the software.

Where to Find Vendors #

  1. Navigate to the Team module
  2. Locate the Vendors section

Adding and Organizing Vendors #

When adding a vendor, you can capture key details to keep your vendor information organized and accessible.

Vendor Information Fields #

  • Vendor Name
  • Primary Contact
  • Contact Email
  • Length of Relationship (how long they have been a vendor)
  • Internal Owner (who the vendor reports to within your organization)
  • Website Link
  • Department Association (which department they primarily work with)
  • Description
  • Vendor Logo

These fields help create a structured view of your vendor ecosystem.

Important Distinction: Vendors vs. Users #

Adding a vendor to the Vendor list does not give them access to the software.

  • Vendors in the Team module are for tracking and organization only
  • They are not automatically added as users

How to Give a Vendor Access to Propel #

If you want a vendor to collaborate within the platform:

  1. Go to Company Settings
  2. Navigate to the Users tab
  3. Add them as a Company User

Once added and activated, they will be able to log in and participate in the software.
