Understanding Notifications in Propel #
Notifications in Propel help you stay informed about activity that directly involves you, as well as important platform updates from Propel.
Where to Find Notifications #
Notifications are located in the lower-left corner of the navigation bar, represented by a bell icon labeled Notifications.
- In a firm view, notifications appear in the lower-left navigation
- In a company instance, notifications appear just above the Support icon
- The bell icon functions the same in both views
What Notifications Show #
Notifications display activity where you have been mentioned or included within the software.
Examples include:
- Mentions in meetings
- Task assignments or updates
- Shared items or actions involving you
Managing Your Notifications #
Within the Notifications panel, you can:
- Toggle between Unread notifications or All notifications
- Mark notifications as Read
This allows you to quickly focus on new activity or review past interactions.
Announcements vs. Notifications #
At the top of the Notifications area, you’ll also see Announcements.
Key differences:
- Notifications reflect user activity involving you
- Announcements come directly from Propel
Announcements typically include:
- Feature updates
- New feature releases
- Platform-related communications
