Understanding Notifications in Propel #

Notifications in Propel help you stay informed about activity that directly involves you, as well as important platform updates from Propel.

Where to Find Notifications #

Notifications are located in the lower-left corner of the navigation bar, represented by a bell icon labeled Notifications.

  • In a firm view, notifications appear in the lower-left navigation
  • In a company instance, notifications appear just above the Support icon
  • The bell icon functions the same in both views

What Notifications Show #

Notifications display activity where you have been mentioned or included within the software.

Examples include:

  • Mentions in meetings
  • Task assignments or updates
  • Shared items or actions involving you

Managing Your Notifications #

Within the Notifications panel, you can:

  • Toggle between Unread notifications or All notifications
  • Mark notifications as Read

This allows you to quickly focus on new activity or review past interactions.

Announcements vs. Notifications #

At the top of the Notifications area, you’ll also see Announcements.

Key differences:

  • Notifications reflect user activity involving you
  • Announcements come directly from Propel

Announcements typically include:
