User Profiles at the Firm Level

< 1 min read

The firm has three different roles within the organization.

The Firm Admin is assigned by Propel Your Business when the firm instance is created. The Firm Admin can then assign Advisors or Supervisors.

If the Firm Admin wants to add additional individuals to the firm—whether as Admins, Advisors, or Supervisors—they must contact Propel Your Business. Once Propel has added those individuals into the system as users, the Firm Admin can assign their roles.

To do this, go to Settings and then Team.

Your team is assigned by Propel Your Business based on the Firm Admin’s request. There are two main roles in addition to Firm Admin: Supervisors and Advisors. A Firm Admin can also request that someone else be made a Firm Admin.

The Firm Admin has complete control across the firm instance, including:

  • Assigning companies to Advisors or Supervisors
  • Assigning Supervisors to individual companies
  • Assigning Supervisors to Advisors

When a Supervisor is added to an Advisor, they see all the company profiles that the Advisor has been assigned.

If you need additional help adding or assigning Supervisors or Advisors within your organization, contact the Help Desk.
