Editing a Roadmap Item #
Roadmap items can be edited from either the Meetings module or the Initiatives module.
To edit a roadmap item, first locate the roadmap item you wish to update. Then click the three dots on the right-hand side of the roadmap item and select Edit.
From the Edit screen, you can modify any information associated with the roadmap item, including:
- Roadmap Item Name
- Description
- Assigned User
- Status
- Links and Resources
- Target Due Date (End Date)
Updating the Target Due Date #
To change the target due date, simply click on the End Date field and select a new date.
Once saved, the roadmap item will automatically reorder itself within the roadmap item list based on its new due date. Roadmap items are displayed in chronological order, helping teams stay focused on the most immediate priorities.
Permission Requirements #
To edit a roadmap item, you must have edit access to the roadmap item or the initiative it belongs to.
If you do not have permission to edit the roadmap item, contact the initiative owner or your administrator for access.
Best Practice #
Keep roadmap items updated as priorities and timelines change. Maintaining accurate ownership, status, and due dates improves visibility, accountability, and execution across the organization.
