Activating a Company User #

To give someone access to Propel Your Business, you must activate them in Company Settings → Users.


Important Reminder #

  • The Team module = org chart (roles, reporting structure)
  • The Users tab = actual access to the software

Someone listed in Team is not active until you activate them in Users.


How to Activate a User #

  1. Go to Company Settings
  2. Click the Users tab
  3. Locate the user:
    • If not listed → click Add User
  4. Click the three dots next to their name
  5. Select Edit
  6. Under Status, choose Active
  7. Click Edit User / Save

What Happens Next #

Once activated:

  • The system sends an email invitation
  • The user will:
    • Set their password
    • Gain access to the platform

If the User Isn’t Listed #

You’ll need to:

  1. Click Add User
  2. Enter:
    • Name
    • Email
    • Role
  3. Set status to Active

Don’t Skip Permissions #

Before saving, review:

  • Access to Company Goals
  • Access to Health & Value (Enterprise Value)
  • Ability to create internal meetings

These control what the user can see and do.


Best Practice #

  • Add users as Inactive if you’re not ready to invite them
  • Activate when:
    • Onboarding is complete
    • You’re ready for them to log in

Common Issue #

User didn’t receive the invite?

  • Check spam folder
  • Confirm correct email address
  • Re-save as Active if needed
