Notifications in Propel #
Inside Propel, the Notification Center helps users stay informed about:
- assignments
- mentions
- updates
- and activity happening throughout the platform.
The Notifications section can be found in the lower portion of the left-hand navigation bar and is identified by:
- the bell icon
- and the label Notifications.
What Notifications Are Used For #
Notifications are generated automatically anytime a user:
- is assigned something
- is mentioned inside the software
- receives updates on collaboration activity
- or needs visibility into important actions.
This creates a centralized communication and accountability system inside Propel.
Notification Indicators #
When users have unread notifications:
- a notification count appears next to the bell icon.
This quickly alerts users that:
- new activity requires their attention.

From here, users can:
- view recent notifications
- open assigned tasks
- navigate directly to activity
- and mark notifications as read.
Notification Filtering Options #
Users can filter notifications by:
- All Notifications
- Unread Notifications
- Mentions
- Assigned Items
This helps individuals focus specifically on:
- new work
- collaboration updates
- or direct mentions requiring attention.
Marking Notifications as Read #
Users can:
- mark individual notifications as read
- or mark all notifications as read at once.
This helps keep the Notification Center organized and manageable.
