How to Add a Goal #

Creating goals in Propel allows you to track performance against key metrics and align your team around measurable outcomes.

  1. Click Goals in the left-hand navigation bar
  2. You will land on the Goals dashboard

By default, the dashboard shows:

You can adjust this view by clearing or applying filters.

Step 2: Add a New Goal #

  1. Click Add Goal in the top right-hand corner
  2. Complete the required fields

  • Below Goal – Lower values indicate success (e.g., expenses, churn)

Guidance is provided within the form to help select the correct option.

You can determine how the goal is populated:

  • QuickBooks – Automatically pulls financial data
  • Calculation – Manually defined or calculated within the system

(A separate guide covers these options in detail.)
