Managing Firm Connection Requests #
Within Company Settings, users with the appropriate permissions can manage requests from advisory firms to connect to their company instance.
To access these requests, navigate to:
Company Settings → Requests
What Is a Firm Connection Request? #
A firm connection request is sent by a Propel firm that would like visibility into your company instance.
When approved, your company becomes connected to the firm’s platform, allowing the firm to view and work with your company according to the permissions established within Propel.
These requests are commonly used when:
- Working with a business advisor or consultant
- Participating in a coaching or advisory program
- Receiving ongoing support from a Propel partner firm
- Collaborating with an external team that helps manage business performance and planning
Reviewing Incoming Requests #
If your company has received a request from a firm, it will appear on the Requests tab.
For each request, you will have the option to:
Approve #
Approving the request connects your company instance to the requesting firm’s platform and grants them visibility into your company.
Deny #
Denying the request prevents the connection and removes the request from your pending list.
Only approve requests from firms that you know and trust.
Sending a Request to a Firm #
If you would like your company to connect to a specific Propel firm, you can initiate the request yourself.
From the Requests tab, select Send Request and enter the email address associated with the firm.
Once submitted, the firm will receive the request and can choose whether to accept the connection.
