Understanding Firm Users #
The Team dashboard displays users who belong to your firm.
These are:
- Firm Admins
- Supervisors
- Advisors
- Consultants
- Other firm team members
This area does not include company users or company owners.
Company users are managed within their individual company instances and are separate from firm users.
Managing Team Members #
The Team dashboard serves as the central location for viewing and managing all firm personnel.
Separate support articles provide detailed instructions for:
- Adding Firm Users
- Editing Firm Users
- Assigning Companies
- Managing Permissions
- Archiving Users
This article provides an overview of the Team Management area and its available features.
User Permission Types #
At the top of the Team dashboard, you’ll see the three primary permission levels available within the Firm Platform.
Firm Admin #
Firm Admins have the highest level of access.
Firm Admins can:
- Add new firm users
- Edit user profiles
- Assign permissions
- Assign companies
- Manage firm settings
- Archive users
- Configure platform settings
Only Firm Admins can perform these administrative functions.
Supervisor #
Supervisors provide a way to organize users into management structures or teams.
Firms often use Supervisor roles to:
- Manage groups of advisors
- Organize coaching teams
- Oversee client portfolios
- Support reporting and accountability structures
Advisor #
Advisors, consultants, and coaches are typically the individuals working directly with client companies.
Depending on permissions, Advisors may:
- Access assigned companies
- Conduct meetings
- Review client progress
- Support company users
- Utilize firm resources and tools
Team Dashboard Metrics #
The Team dashboard provides a quick overview of your firm’s user base.
Common metrics include:
- Total active users

These metrics help Firm Admins understand the composition of their team and monitor platform usage.

The Team dashboard includes filtering and search tools to help locate specific users quickly.
You can search by:

Best Practices #
We recommend that Firm Admins:
✓ Regularly review active users
✓ Archive users who no longer require access
✓ Verify permissions periodically
✓ Review company assignments for accuracy
✓ Monitor user login activity
✓ Limit Firm Admin access to necessary personnel
Maintaining clean user records helps improve security, reporting accuracy, and overall platform management.
