Goals & Scorecards Overview #

The Goals module is your central hub for tracking performance inside Propel Your Business. This is where you manage both individual KPIs (Goals) and aggregated performance views (Scorecards).

What Are Goals? #

Goals are individual metrics or KPIs tracked over time.

Examples:

• Revenue
• Expenses
• Profit
• Sales activities

Key Features #

• Tracked monthly and quarterly
• Show Plan vs. Actual vs. Variance
• Visual indicators:
  • 🟢 Green = on track or exceeding goal
  • 🔴 Red = below target

How to Add a Goal #

1. Go to Goals module
2. Click Add Goal (top right)
3. Enter goal details and save

Using Filters #

By default:

• You’ll see goals you own or are shared on

To expand your view:

• Click Clear Filters
• Use filters to sort by:
  • Owner
  • Scorecard
  • Meeting series
  • Year

What Are Scorecards? #

Scorecards are collections of goals grouped together to track performance in one place.

Think of them as:

• A dashboard of KPIs
• A way to track performance by:
  • Department
  • Team
  • Function (e.g., Sales, Finance)

Scorecard Dashboard #

Inside the Scorecards tab, you’ll see:

• Scorecard Name
• Owner
• Who it’s shared with
• Number of goals included
• Associated meeting series

Creating a Scorecard #

1. Go to Scorecards tab
2. Click Add Scorecard
3. Select:
   • Goals to include
   • Meeting series (optional)
   • Owner and permissions
4. Click Submit

Editing a Scorecard #

• Click the three dots next to a scorecard
• If you don’t see this option:
  • You are not the owner
  • Request edit access from the owner

Goals & Scorecards in Meetings #

Goals and scorecards are designed to live inside your meeting rhythm.

Where to Find Them #

1. Go to Meetings
2. Open a meeting series
3. Navigate to the Scorecards tab in the agenda

What You’ll See #

• Pinned scorecards for that meeting
• All goals tied to those scorecards

Managing Scorecards in Meetings #

You can:

• Pin scorecards → Focus discussion
• Unpin scorecards → Remove clutter
• View owned scorecards
• Add goals directly from the meeting

Default Behavior #

• The Company Scorecard typically appears first
• If you own another scorecard, it may appear first instead
• Visibility depends on:
  • Ownership
  • Sharing permissions
