Learning: Playbooks Overview

1 min read

Creating and Managing Playbooks #

Playbooks is the second tab within the Learning module.

Playbooks provide a centralized place to document and organize your organization’s SOPs, working models, and repeatable processes. Playbooks are organized into categories, making it easy for team members to find the information relevant to their role or department.

Organize Playbooks into Categories #

Categories help organize related Playbooks and control who has access to them.

To create a category:

  1. Navigate to Learning → Playbooks.
  2. Click Add Category.
  3. Enter a name for the category.
  4. Choose who should have access, either the entire organization or selected departments.
  5. Select an icon.
  6. Create the category.

Once created, open the category to view all Playbooks organized within it.

View a Playbook #

Open an individual Playbook to see the documented sections and steps associated with that process.

From the Playbook, you can also:

  • Copy the link to share the Playbook with another user.
  • Download a QR code that directs users to the Playbook.
  • Edit the Playbook and its content.

Edit a Playbook #

When editing an existing Playbook, you can update:

  • Playbook details
  • Playbook owner
  • Associated resources
  • Sections and steps

Once your changes are complete, you can Save as Draft or Publish the Playbook.

Create a New Playbook #

To create a Playbook:

  1. Open the category where you want the Playbook to live.
  2. Click Add Playbook.
  3. Enter the Playbook title.
  4. Select an owner.
  5. Confirm or change the category.
  6. Click Create.

This opens the Playbook creation template, where you can add additional details, supporting resources, and document the process.

Build Sections and Steps #

Playbooks can be divided into Sections and Steps to make processes easier to follow.

For example, a section might provide an overview of one stage of the process. Under that section, you can add:

  • Step 1
  • Step 2
  • Step 3

Each step can include its own description and instructions.

Continue adding sections and steps until you’ve documented the full process.

Unassigned Playbooks #

If you create a Playbook without a category, it will appear under Unassigned.

The Playbook will remain there until you assign it to the appropriate category.

Using categories consistently keeps your organization’s Playbooks organized and makes it easier for users to find the SOPs and processes they need.

Reorder Playbooks #

You can also control the order in which Playbooks appear.

Click Reorder at the top of the page, then drag and drop the Playbooks into your preferred order.

By organizing Playbooks into categories and documenting processes through clear sections and steps, you can create a centralized library of SOPs and repeatable processes for your organization.
