Pinning Tasks to a Meeting Series #
Tasks can be pinned to meeting series so they remain visible and actionable within the meetings where accountability and follow-up occur.
There are several ways to pin a task to a meeting series in Propel.
Pinning an Existing Task #
If a task already exists, you can pin it to a meeting series by editing the task.
- Locate the task you want to update.
- Open the task and select Edit.
- In the Meeting Series field, select the meeting series where you want the task to appear.
- Save your changes.
The task will now be associated with that meeting series and will appear in the meeting’s task section.
Pinning a Task During Creation #
When creating a new task, you have the option to immediately associate it with a meeting series.
- Create a new task.
- Select the appropriate meeting series from the Meeting Series field.
- Complete the remaining task details.
- Save the task.
The task will automatically be linked to the selected meeting series.
Creating Tasks Inside a Meeting #
When you create a task while working inside a meeting series, Propel automatically associates the task with that meeting.
No additional action is required.
This makes it easy to capture action items during discussions and ensure they remain connected to the meeting where they were created.
Best Practices #
Consider pinning tasks to meeting series when:
- The task will be reviewed during recurring meetings.
- Multiple participants need visibility into progress.
- The task supports a meeting-related initiative or roadmap item.
- Accountability and follow-up are important.
Keeping tasks connected to the appropriate meeting series helps teams stay aligned and ensures important action items are reviewed consistently.
